Still Life: 6

Firstly, the contrast and shading on the objects within this arrangement is of a very high quality which really catches the way the shadows are portrayed in this piece. The same thing could be said for the way it also shows the reflections of the other objects, for example; the reflection of the mug within the base of the lave lamp.  This shows that the artist has really observed the way the objects act within the arrangement. The arrangement itself has also been though out quite well as there are no kissing objects neither is there any orphaned objects, and the objects themselves have been organised very well into a way that’s pleasing to the viewer’s eye and also has a basic implied line from left to right, from the lava lamp to the candle glass. This piece is of a very nice standard  by the way it had been shaded and the thought that helped catch the form of the objects and the organisation within the arrangement, the only improvement that I could think to could would be that it would use a background which would add more depth to the image raisin the quality that little bit higher.
